The safety and well-being of our clients and employees is always of primary concern. As the Coronavirus spreads and increased cases are reported, we are closely monitoring updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), local and national news sources and our local health providers. We want to share how our management team is taking precautions aligned with guidance from the CDC as we activate parts of our Business Continuity plan as it pertains to pandemic preparation.

Our plan is designed to minimize any potential disruption in service and precautions we are taking are to ensure the safety of you and our employees. Steps we have taken include:

  • Increased cleaning and sanitizing for all bank locations.
  • Increased communication with our associates on how best to protect themselves and our customers.
  • Curtailing all business-related travel for our associates.
  • Meeting remotely by video or phone conferences.
  • Identification of critical staff for uninterrupted business services in the case of employee absences.
  • Discontinuing attendance at social events including those we sponsor.
  • Work from home contingency plans.

Digital Products: We remind you that FBT has a full array of digital products that enable you to access your accounts electronically from your home or business on a PC or MAC, via your tablet or smartphone. Our products enable you to:

  • Monitor account activity
  • Make deposits via mobile capture with your smartphone
  • Transfer funds easily between accounts (internal or external)
  • Pay bills online or through person-to-person payment via POP Money.
  • Utilize Telephone Banking by calling (877) 426-2498.
  • Directly Deposit your payroll, Social Security or other regularly occurring deposit (contact us to set this up).
  • Access cash through our ATM or through any Community Cash network ATM.  During this time and until further notice, we will not charge foreign ATM fees and will refund up to $3.00 per transaction at non-FBT or Community Cash network ATMs.
  • FBT debit and credit cards can be used for immediate payment and/or cash needs.
  • e-Statements provide electronic delivery of bank statements.

We encourage you to utilize these products during this time and are happy to enroll you if you are not yet using these conveniences now. We also encourage you to closely monitor your accounts during this time as unfortunately, cyber-criminals tend to be more active in times of emergencies.
